If there was any time to shine a light on the South African RnB scene, it is right NOW!

Not much is being said around that scene nor is there much coverage because we, as music consumers don't see the weight it can potentially hold in the market. Streaming the music is good but we need to go beyond that - musical events (strictly Rnb) are needed to take place in order for people to start witnessing the growth and impact.

Music industry enthusiast, Ndoji Manika mononymously known on the internet as FRENCHFRY has taken the lead by being one of the forefront runners to assist elevate the status of RnB in this country. This past Wednesday on Freedom Day, FRENCHFRY hosted a chummy online event called, The Free RnB show. FRENCHFRY said; 

"It's an online vibe.. Pre-recorded so that's why its basically free.."

The purpose for this event is for the mass music lovers to start identifying the upcoming talent within the space of RnB. Everything is online, it's accessible, so giving the people a show that they can "attend" in the comfort of their own home is the most convenient way to market new talent.

FRENCHFRY aired the first part of 'The RnB Free Show' and he shines the spotlight on the talents Kuchicola, S B X, SunsetSerenita and Vance Roday - No funding, no sponsors, all from the love, determination and purpose for music with contributors Boitumelo Setshedi; 05' Studios, Sine and Digital Dash. 

"With all the musical talent that sits within the borders of South Africa, it would be careless of us to not bring such talent to your attention. RnB artists have been at work for the longest time but the conversations around that genre is not as loud as it should be judging by the talent within that space."
