"Love Me" serves as my introduction to BebeTheCreator and with any new artist music that I delve into, I go into it expecting nothing and my ears open to everything. "Love Me" has a bit of a slow start but ultimately her talent shines through. I love how she plays with her voice at different spectrums. It gives the song character and points to her willingness to take risks. It would have been much easier to approach the song in one dimension and call it a day so I really commend her on that. I particularly enjoy it when BebeTheCreator pushes her voice into higher tones. It gives me an Amy Winehouse vibe, which isn't a style that I have heard too many artists execute well. She also possesses an understanding of how to make a song feel full with elements that aren't in your face. What's my verdict? A clear talent and I will definitely be checking out her catalogue to see what else she has in her bag.
