On “Almost Insane”, THEBOYNAMEDSIMBA provides an update on his mental state rooted in his quest to become a critically acclaimed artist. The come up can be extremely infuriating at times. The disrespect that I’ve received from those in the industry has led to me gaining a thick skin. However, I’ve recently found that that same protective thick skin has stirred a sort of arrogance and pride, something which scares the child in me. This song is based on that.
