Cape Townian rapper Tembipowers recently celebrated his birthday and on the day the rapper released a three new singles packaged as an EP titled, "Fishboy". On "Fishboy" Tembipowers features fellow Cape Townian rapper J Clu on track two, which is a standout song for me.
On "PGA Tour" with J Clu, Tembipowers continues to prove his comfortability behind the microphone with the choice of breaks in between sentence and the delivery on his verse - and this comes from continued practice and pure talent. J Clu works the hook of the song with care.
On the third song, Tembipowers goes bar after bar with impressive storytelling and flow switches at the 1:44 minute mark.
The three-tracker EP is only available on SoundCloud, in which in my opinion, wished it was on all streaming services. Check it out right now.
