Hurricane Dan Fischer just released this beautiful body of work that I have to tell you about. Having heard the singles like UMPOMPI and Sunshine, I had a feeling of the sound of this album before diving into it and my hunch was right. The album carries a lot of the same vibe throughout. It's focused without sounding like one song. Each song has its little pockets of flows that help you differentiate between each song. My favourite songs on this album were '333', 'Loser' and 'UMPOMPI'. Those songs are closer to the vibes that I want to listen to every day. They are laidback but carry a bit of a bounce and intensity. I really love the tracklisting of this album. It feels like a playlist that carries you through different feelings. Very rarely do I completely enjoy how an artist orders an album but Hurricane Dan Fischer and I must have a similar taste because I wouldn't change anything about how he ordered this album. Ultimately, this is one of those albums I'm going to listen to from beginning to end without any skips.
