I'm sure I've said this before but I'll say it again. Producers make the best projects because they play the role of curator and they can call on different artists to bring their vision to life. Zuks recently released a 4 track EP titled 'K.I.S.S.' and if I wasn't for Spotify's release radar I would have missed out on this gem. This year, more than any other year, I have had the pleasure of being introduced to the world of Electronic music and Zuks' remix of 'Mosadi' piqued my interest. The first song I came across from this EP was 'Thank You' with Avanthay. It's a real smooth mix of R&B and Electronic music and Avanthay's vocals serve as the chefs kiss to the song. 'Divine' follows the same sort of style but with more of a soulful vibe which I enjoyed. 'Khuzani' with ASAP Shembe featured hints of African elements which played right into his lane. I don't think there are a lot of artists out there that could pull of that mix of sounds. I used to love trap music but I have really fallen out of love with it because I don't really connect with it anymore but songs like 'Fort Knox V2' remind me why I fell in love with the sub-genre in the first place and I foresee the song being my morning jam for a while.
