Frequent collaborators Khenji and Spunky Galaxy have surprised us with a joint tape and in all honesty, I am here for it. The first thing that stood out to me was the aesthetic of the album. I felt like I could tell this was going to be a grungy tape just looking at the cover and that's something that I really appreciate. It took me a while to warm up to this tape because I had to listen to it without looking for the parts of Spunky Galaxy and Khenji I had heard and enjoyed before. Now it feels like a dope stylistic piece of work. It makes me feel 'cool' for a lack of a better term. It's unapologetically dark and bass-heavy which is its main appeal. It feels like the sort of tape you would listen to when you're really locked in and grinding. Essentially the tape screams 'you weren't shooting with me in the gym' and I'll be saying "since you got a little fame you think you influential, talking bout that money like it's never been an issue". These guys are dope. That is all.
