He started out his musical career as a battle rapper for the Da Grapevine rap battle league owned by Zimbabwean hip-hop enthusiast, Naboth Rizla. Using this experience to hone his lyricism and well thought out musical composition structure, #Brintz has shown an authentic, introspective, and well-articulated lyrical content blended together with a classical hip-hop soundscape.
The Play The$e for Now EP is his introduction to the world as a musical artist as it is his debut release. We see #Brintz displaying his lyrical prowess, empowered by production which complements his usually calm and vibrant cadence. The Introduction track "Vin Conscious" serves as an opener to the project, done as a tribute to the late Zimbabwean hip-hop icon, Cal Vin. The project manages to strike a balance between braggadocios offerings such as "Kasi Boy" & "Top 5" with conscious and social commentary centered songs such as "S.O.M.M" with faRAi and "Nkosi Sikelela" with Luminous.
