23 year old artist, singer-songwriter and producer Nalu has finally released her EP "Can We Get Lost?". This nine-tracker project tells a story about lovers, friends and heartbreak to new ends. It's an honest journey of getting lost within your dreamworld of desires. Laced in R&B guitar riffs and soulful melodies, "Can We Get Lost?" will teleport you to a whole new sonic realm of secrets and sensuality.
"Can We Get Lost?" is a project which captures the vortex that is Nalu's mind after midnight. She writes about her secrets, the whispers from her demons, twisted dreams, comforting nightmares and the deep introspection she’s had to do to find her peace. She gets lost in her headspace in order to find her truth. Discovering which parts of her darkness are authentic to her and which parts are a facade or a protection mechanism. The truth is simply that she is human. A human with light and dark days. A human who recognizes her dark days and seeks their source of darkness within the core of who she is.
On the outside, everybody is supposed to appear perfect - nobody is. This project shows Nalu reflecting on that and coming back a whole lot stronger, fiercer and more powerful! Acknowledging the perfection in her imperfections, celebrating the light within the darkness. Befriending her demons and immersing herself in her dreamworld of desires.
"i can’t believe this day has come. after starting this project in early 2020 to releasing it out into the world today, the first day of scorpio season, my season - i feel so at peace. i hope this project makes you feel safe, seen and sexy." - Nalu.
