Dan Mwale and Kemet's joint offering, 'S E a L T E a M', is a dark trap-infused EP. The EP opens with 'Thug Tears' and 'I Know', which are down-tempo in comparison to the rest of the EP and have a more melodic style. The two songs ease you into the EP before it goes into songs like 'OPEN UH' featuring VegasxCesar and 'HIGHWAY TO HEAVEN' featuring PatricKxxLee and Costa Titch. The see two songs have a more intense and sinister feel to them and it also sees them lean further into a moodier trap sound. I think that the highlight of this EP came on 'I F I D I E' featuring Maglera Doe Boy. They sound at their most comfortable on the song and the production offers both Dan Mwale and Kemet the opportunity to bring their best attributes to the table. It was interesting to note that Maglera Doe Boy's delivery was in a higher pitch than that I've come accustomed to and I think it was a stylistic decision to match the vibe set by Dan Mwale and Kemet. The EP closes off with 'Count On Me', which has a very fitting cinematic feel to it. Stream 'S E a L T E a M' below.
