Sipho The Gift's rollout has kept my attention with him releasing another single from his upcoming project, LOTUK. 'NIA LONG' stays consistent with the mood of the previous releases but it sees Sipho The Gift bring something different in comparison to 'Dark Matter' ft Maglera Doe Boy and 'Old Soul' ft Thato Saul. His verses were far more aggressive on those two releases, whereas on NIA LONG he has a more relaxed delivery. The song sees him focus on delivering something that's easy to sing along to. I think it's really cool that he can do both at a high level. 'Old Soul' was a song about how rap is missing soul but on NIA LONG he proves that he can do what other rappers do with ease by delivering a song that is melodic and chorus-centric.
