Rpper, writer and creative project manager Lex LaFoy Releases her 6th recorded project "NewWorldDaughter". The project features Maskandi great Buselaphi Gxowa, internationally renowned thespian and rap artist Annaylzer, Lex’s fellow Durban contemporary Ms Andii (Aybo) and breakthrough vocalist Lereece McDonald. With a total of 11 tracks, Lex LaFoy delves into sounds that vary from RnB, something ratchet and a closing track she describes as ‘Amapiano Spiritual’. When asked about her choice to only feature women, Lex had this to say:
“It wasn’t until I was putting together the publishing details last month that I realized I only had women features. For me this exemplifies perfect balance - With all producers being male”. Production includes BMS, Audio Simz, DJ Wobbly and TeabagCC.
