@SishiiOfficial Makes Jaded Look Cool On 'Sincerely Yours' EP

I feel like Sishii makes the kind of music that's the anthem for every guy when they 'make it'. I know I can't be the only one that feels this way because almost everyone can relate to having cheap wine and weed nights in varsity. I enjoy the brand of R&B that Sishii makes. He seems to be very comfortable in this lane and displays the ability to hit the sweet spot of the sub-genre with songs like 'Demons' and 'You Know', with the latter being my favourite song on the project. I think that Sishii is a good vocalist and fits the mould of an R&B artist however I don't think his voice is his stand out trait. Sishii's ability to effectively float throughout various types of production is what stood out immediately. I think his performance on 'You Know' is the best example of this when he sings, "like my consignor, my signer and my designer, why you get surprised when you see a nigga shining, I'm getting higher, I know I'm your only desire" before he goes into the hook. 

Sishii's songwriting is also a cornerstone of his music. He has lyrics that are easily relatable. It's like when you read a horoscope and think it directly applies to your life when in reality, you're just being told things that apply to everyone. He also plays the role of the 'cool jaded' guy very well. It's the same reason one might enjoy a song like Drake's Marvin Room. Sometimes he's not okay that he's hurt by some girl but he's also okay with the fact he has centre folds now. He drinks alcohol he can't pronounce but he's still available for you when the club scene feels too crowded. It's that kind of duality that makes you feel like you connect with his music because he speaks from every perspective and with that being said this man really had me firing shots at girls I've never been with.
