On the back of his highly acclaimed contributions on the two-time SAMA nominated compilation album 'iSAMBULO' and a chart-topping feature on MusiholiQ’s “Gawulubheke”, which also features label-mate Sjava, Andile Ngubeni a.k.a Anzo of 1020 Cartel (founded by Sjava and Ruff ATM) finally releases his debut project titled, '3310'. The nostalgically titled EP consists of six tracks that blend trap and Afro-soul stylings. Just as the title would suggest, the mini-album draws inspiration from his upbringing in Estcourt, KwaZulu-Natal.
Anzo has always expressed and created from a place of vulnerability and says, “it has been a long time coming, this project is personal to me and tells stories of things I have experienced and seen in my lifetime, which I strongly believe connect me to every single one of my fans.”
