It was around 3 am and my anxiety had woken me up for the fourth day in a row. As usual, the first thing I did was grab my phone and start scrolling and I decided to listen to music while I tried to gather the strength to get out of bed. I don't even remember how it happened but I stumbled upon Noko Sost's Instagram and hit the link in the bio and... it was love at first listen. If I could turn an album into my life partner it would be 'A Musical Collection Of The Mind'. I don't know if it was divine intervention or not but I feel like I found this album exactly when I needed to hear it. I am a bit disappointed in myself because I can't find the right words to describe this album, so I've just decided to share how it makes me feel. The album made me feel reassured about myself. It brought me a much-needed level of peace. I try my best to listen as attentively as I can but if I'm honest, I feel what she is saying more than I hear what she is saying. The album feels free and fluid like a river or a stream. 'A Musical Collection Of The Mind' makes me feel like water, like I can go around or through anything that comes my way. 'A Musical Collection Of The Mind' is exactly what Noko Sost says it is, a collection of the mind. Stream it below.
