By @tabloydza on 08/03/2021 in Watch

Undoubtedly one of Pretoria's most exciting artists as discovered on the Slikouronlife Incubator Class of 2017, Sanele Mhlongo popularly known as thepxshmagazine has been hard at work. With two projects under his belt, Hometown Heroes & End of Conversation thepxshmagazine releases a performance video where he performs some of his favorite songs from the projects and an exclusive from upcoming mixtape set to drop end of this month, Phambili. Through the performance we see thepxshmagazine take us through some of his setbacks, personal frustrations, and coping but finally seeing the light and betting on himself. The Pretoria based multi-layered artist describes this journey as capturing the becoming, "The moments when you transition between your old self and what it would take to realise the version of yourself that your aspirations demand."

The performance video is directed and produced by Songezile Mzakwe, edited by Kitso Moremi, with Shaun Mnisi as the D.O.P. Onela Tengani as Art Director, Ntsikelelo Canga on Lights and Tshepo Mashilo on Sound. Check the performance out below and be apart of thepxshmagazine's becoming;
