@Kay_Faith_SA Releases The Music Video For "Proudly Capetonian" Featuring @YoungstaCPT & @EjayCPT_

Another day, another anthem for the Mother City. Kay Faith enlists Cape Town's foremost poets, YoungstaCPT and E-JayCPT, to represent Cape Town aka Kaapstad. The track is a bold statement that not only is Cape Town their home ground, but they are proud of it. If it was ever doubted it will be clear while E-Jay proclaims “Kaapstaad and that Kasi Lami, Kaapstad, I rep Western Cape” over the hard-knocking Kay Faith drill production.

YoungstaCPT, the resident storyteller, as expected delivers the tales of the City. Explaining the circumstances that drive us not to make the best choices at times. However, in all that, there is hope in all that because he came from there to going on tour representing the city. Furthermore, if need be he will call the Capetonians and they will show up. In short, there is good and there is bad but as a Capetonian like any other, he will make a way.

This song is a thumping proclamation to let the world that “CPT” in their names is not just for show. Not only that but it is also a call to the whole nation to be proud of where they are from and represent for it wherever they go.
