No, I'm not talking about the famous mafia gangster but rather a South African rapper that some may be familiar with, a very close associate to Da L.E.S and DJ D Double D. Gotti Gambino released his EP titled 'Entrapment'. A very clever approach to the title as it relatively means to have the law enforcements (police) induce a person who wouldn't be involved in a crime to commit a crime. The title and his stage name 'Gotti Gambino' correlate as that name is a character from a gangster film, that of course, was involved in crime.
DJ D Double D was instrumental in the making of 'Entrapment' as it was creatively directed, executive produced and A&R'ed by him. He definitely has a good ear because there are some solid tunes on the body of work.
The 8-tracker EP features Stanley Kaye, SSSTAUCE, and new artist Pambo. This is a serious bop! Don't waste time and press play below;
