Money First Entertainment (MFE) and Linda PRO Mkhize’s lyrical soldiers have come together to give the late, great legend a 24-gun salute as we approach the 2nd year anniversary of his passing.
Known as “VITA” to those closest to him, Linda PRO Mkhize passed away on the 8th of August 2018, to the shock of the industry, and country, at large.
MFE artists SFS, Captain FS and Red Button alongside singer TeePee - who featured on every PRO album - have come together for a tributary offering through the remix of SFS’s MAWE. The remix is officially known as MAWE: VITA 24, signifying the 24 months of PRO’s absence in the physical realm.
Each of the artists have individually paid homage to their brother and lyrical genius, PRO, through their respective offerings; however this will be the first time that the battalion unites to collectively, and, musically pay their respects to The General.
MAWE:VITA 24 drops on the 8th of August 2020 in line with the day that PRO passed away and sees the 4 baring emotions that are still raw as a result of his passing.
The #VITA24 campaign kicked off on Monday, 27 July 2020 and sees each of the artists sharing their stories of how they met PRO; how they each became a part of MFE and life since the loss of their mentor and idol with a few surprises in tow.
