It's been a long time coming, and the wait is finally over as Soudy's finest, Quickfass Cass, eventually releases his debut project, Rookie Of The Year.
The mixtape has notable features from your favourite rapper's favourite trapper, Emtee. Soweto’s finest, the late Linda ‘PRO’ Mkhize, and Stogie T to name a few. This is a major move for Quickfass Cass who came onto the scene a few years ago as a contestant on The Hustle on Vuzu, a rap TV show which saw the likes of Shane Eagle and Bigstar Johnson emerge. ‘Rookie of the year’ features the radio friendly "You Know The Vibes" and "Takeover" a hard, street record, as well as "Soudy Soudy II," an anthem representing the South of Johannesburg where Quickfass Cass is from. Quickfass Cass shows off his lyrical ability and versatility on this mixtape, which cements his position as the rookie of the year 2020. Press play to listen to Rookie of the Year below;
