The Hosts Of #POPcast Discuss @KwestaDakar Quitting Club Gigs & More

By @MisaNarrates on 07/24/2019 in Watch

Live performances are one of the many ways that artists can monetize their art. In a tweet, Kwesta shared that he would no longer be performing in nightclubs. In the third part of POPcast Episode 3, the hosts discuss his decision.

Upon further conversation, viewers will hear how each of them rationalize why the decision seems sound, and consider how even the best acts must grow out of the club. This isn't to say that the clubs are terrible venues, but that the artist in question may not be able to perform at their optimum in the setting. Speedsta, Scoop Makhathini, Ms Cosmo, and DJ Vigilante also get into how they're growing in age and may or may not be able to maintain the same energy of club culture.

This instalment is less spicey than some of the others, but valid points were raised, although you'll need to watch below for the full idea.
