@tsanobody Discusses Black Wealth, Structural Racism, & More On 'The Jungle'

By @MisaNarrates on 04/16/2019 in Projects You Should Hear

New York City is often referred to as a concrete jungle and Johannebsurg could be considered South Africa's New York. Similarly, both cities have jungle like characteristics in that the environment isn't easy to manoeuvre. In his second EP, TSA likens the city of Gold to a jungle throughout the eleven track project.

The Jungle sees features from Spoek Mathambo, ByLwantsa, GUGU, Sipho the Gift, NayPalNeo, and Maglera Doe Boy. TSA imagines the project as a type of ode to blackness in its commentary on black wealth, structural racism, and his personal development. Listen to the TSA's The Jungle, below!
