A 'Celebration of Life,' Nipsey Hussle's Funeral Service

Impact is defined as “the strong effect or influence that something/someone has on a situation or a person.” Additionally, impact is not easily missed; be it how someone assisted you with something, or how they made you feel. 

The past two weeks have been a revelation; not just for hip hop, but the community at large. The untimely passing of rapper Ermias Esghedom, better known as Nipsey Hussle, is the purest definition of how one person's life can touch many in a short period of time. Some knew him through music and others through his deeds. People who know, know; and they all share sentiments in the "godly" life Nipsey led.

In celebration of his life, mourners gathered for his memorial service at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California. Among them were Snoop Dog, YG, Meek Mill among the friends and family were in attendance. Words from his girlfriend Lauren London, his Mother, and Barack Obama, were shared among other speakers at the service. The 33-year old rapper was murdered on the 31st of March outside his Marathon Clothing store.
