The world has been crying out to A-Reece and the man has finally answered with the release of his "soundtrack," Reece Effect. The project, co-produced by Mash Beatz, boasts eleven tracks; all of which have made it to the Top Chart of Apple Music, as shared by Reece today. We should have known something was coming from the rapper as soon as his name began to appear more and fresh images of him rolled out.
Reece Effect sees the rapper joined by long time collaborators, Wordz, Ex Global, IMP THA DON, and Krish; basically, The Wrecking Crew. Amid some of the digital drama around the latter group, Reece's "soundtrack" stands out in the fray.
Calling Reece Effect a soundtrack seems apt considering that it plays like a movie soundtrack. Whatever you would imagine a weekend with A-Reece looks like is what this latest drop sounds like. Each track transitions to into the next smoothly, without losing the vibe of the track before it. At this point, it almost seems redundant to mention that this rapper is lyrically sound, although with this project featuring four other musicians, it's interesting to note that he was well matched at times.
Reece Effect is a laid back project, there were minimal occasions where hardcore moshing seemed like a viable activity. However this will be tested at Reece Effect show, when songs from the project are performed live. For the time being, enjoy the "soundtrack" below.
