It’s the return of Driemanskap and in a cypher, they let us know where exactly they’ve been.
Since the release of their 2009 debut album, Igqabhukil' Inyongo, they have been quiet. After Driemanskap’s hiatus, they are back on the scene with a brand new cypher. Rhyming over a Drake sample and maintaining their Spaza rap style, Driemanskap represents Cape Town. The group incorporates isiXhosa, English, and Cape flats slang to localise the popular American beat.
In addition, Driemanskap has announced the release of their long awaited second album, Hlala Nam. The project is set to drop in April, although there is no concrete date as yet.
