@JRafrika Launches New Event, #JunkYardJam Calling On Upcoming & Underground Talent

"We talking the best... high energy. We talking, UPLIFT ME."

This is the memo of JR's newly announced event called Junk Yard Jam and it's set to bring the heat by shining the light on some of the best there is to offer in gqom, mapiano, trap, and more genres. The event is aimed at showcasing upcoming and underground artists and DJs to a wide audience. Launching in Pretoria on the 2nd of March, JR has issued a call to potential groove masters to submit their work for consideration and he is currently sitting on more than 650 submissions for his event. 

Whether the event is or will be confined to Pretoria is yet to be clear, but the city being his hometown, we wouldn't be mad at the possibility. Cap City is a place of massive talent and we're certain there is much to uncover in it, Junk Yard Jam couldn't have come at a better time. Make sure you buy yourself tickets to the promising concept, you don't want to be left out of the history books.
