Known for his mean freestyles and Mean Mondays series which had the rapper dropping new music weekly, R-Mean is back again, this time with a video for his most popular song yet, Babylon.
Babylon is a sociopolitical song in which R-Mean is challenging the system and expressing how political injustices and capitalism shouldn't bring people down, but instead they should stand firm against these. He stands with Chris Webber on this sing as he contributes his thoughts on what Babylon is and what it should be. The video is shot in California by Rook, starting up with a Mahatma Gandhi quote, "The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for everyone's greed." It portrays numerous real life protests and wars, which clearly depict the image of the Babylon we read about, the walls are crashing. Check the video out below:
