Thank goodness for technology and the culture of documentation that has taken over the world owed to the growth in digital advancements. We are better people for all the times that our favourite artists recap on events we missed out on through social media clips that quench our FOMO.
Kid X recently hosted an exclusive art experience with his fans and industry colleagues where he got to unpack the artistic elements of his album, Thank Da King, and its covers. After hosting a competition online for fans to join him, word got around to Mzantsi's very own "salt bae," Seitlheko, who happens to create art using salt and he ended up rendering a piece live at the #TDKArtExperience. Words cannot express the serene mood and good vibes that were permeating at the experience but at least you have a snapshot of what the night was like courtesy of The Connek. I'd say stay glued to the 88 King's social media for information on the next experience and whether you can come along to it or not. Peep the replay below and make sure you check out our 3 part conversation with him about the album:
This past Sunday we took the #TDKArtExperience to Tshwane #BotakiBaAfrika in Hatfield. No words/pictures or videos could fully describe what when down, you gotta be there to witness it yourself.
