@Beatmochini Shares JABBA TRIBUTE With Music Samples

SA hip hop, and the nation at large, is in mourning as we bid farewell to an originator, the bosso, HHP, who passed on last week Wednesday. The legend joins a list  of great losses to music including his Dj, Zondi; Ben Sharpa, and PRO who passed on this year. Taking to social media and multiple platforms, fans continue celebrating his life, music, and journey by sharing their fondest memories of him. 

Beatmochini who has worked with Jabba relays a story of having asked him to use his samples in some of his music, which he agreed to and was billed to feature on his album, but now that opportunity is gone. As a result, the producer sought to simply share the music he has warped using some of Jabba's samples dubbing it his JABBA TRIBUTE. The 3-in-1 piece samples Mzabalazo; Phola, and Bodutu, which the producer chopped up between 2014 and 2015. No words can explain the impact Jabba has had on everyone he has come in contact with and his bountiful spirit will live on forever, not to mention his timeless music which he blessed us with. Rest in music to one of the giants of African hip hop.
