To celebrate his 36th birthday, Lil Wayne finally released his long-awaited Carter V album which he had announced just days prior to the release. The rapper continues the festivities and album promotions by paying the good folks down at NBC's The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon a visit for an interview and later closing it off with an electric performance.
Backed by the show's in-house live band, The Roots, as well as multiple strobe lights, Weezy gives a stripped down version of Dedicate lifted from his album and continuously censors his cuss words like a pro. On its opening day, Carter V was ranked number 2 as one of Spotify's most streamed albums with over 60 million streams worldwide coming in second to Drake's Scorpion which sits comfortably at over 80 million streams.
