The two rappers open past wounds and reflect on their beef as they exchange bars about how life was and how times have changed. At the peak of his career, Canibus released his album, Can-I-Bus, to a disappointing reception and he later blamed this on 'Clef seeing that the Fugees emcee produced a majority of the project. They mention this in the track as well as Canibus' feud with LL Cool J.
