Since Diggy Simmons grew up from being the loud, brace-faced kid to quickly becoming a heartthrob to teenage girls everywhere, he followed his father Rev. Run's footsteps and became an emcee. After taking a break from the music in the past few years, Diggy has now come back with a new single and video leading up to his album.
His new song, It Is What It Is, finds Diggy at his most comfortable state where he accepts his imperfections and prepares himself for all that life has coming. The accompanying video displays multiple scenes, from Diggy in a church rapping while backed by a choral group, and later moving to a bunch of ballerinas and violinists. The song is reminiscent of a Sunday service and if you happened to miss church yesterday, Diggy's got you covered.
