Yanga Chief hasn't been releasing music since So Soon, although he has been credited numerous times for his features in other artists' songs, the most recent one being his appearance in AKA's Touch My Blood. The rapper announced that his album is on the way after giving insight about his songs and the number of features he has in the bag thus far.
Most of my songs so personal I can’t bring myself to feature anyone. I even sang the parts myself. I think I’ve got 2/3 features so far. Album on the way.

After this, he went on his Instagram page where he previewed unheard music to let his fans know that he's been busy. One of the songs is an upbeat tune, something you'd hear being played at a wedding that's also reminiscent of the Mafikizolo classics. It's no telling when we'll be getting the new project since he last gave us Neighbourhood Genius, but it's certain that Yanga Chief will definitely deliver the fire.
