Folarin, aka, Wale, drops off a cheeky visual for one of his songs lifted off the Self Promotion EP which he recently dropped. The motion picture finds Wale hard at work on his fitness pictured in a boxing gym, and on a football field.
The overlaying story, however, is a meeting that Wale sits in where he is offered a contract he doesn't seem quite interested in signing. Having recently come off his Atlantic Records deal and striking a partnership with Warner Bros. as well as MMG, it seems Wale is rebelling against the concept of record deals. It's common knowledge that major labels are considered sharks in the industry in that their deals are often exploitative, not to say that Wale's past deals have been like so, but the play on the song's title mashed up with his attitude in that meeting goes a long way in sending a cheeky message to "the system."
