In what the fans have dubbed Nicki Day, the "bad guy" Nicki Minaj finally drops off two new singles keeping to her promise. After a mild hiatus from the music where fans were slowly falling into a sadness, she comes back with Chun-Li (yes, the street fighter) which is mad lethal, yet tinged with her typical playfulness. She switches flows on the track as she rides the menacing beat with prowess owning her savagery. What a sport!
That's not all though, she also shares another track titled Barbie Tingz which she goes ahead and drops with a lyric video and the official music video teaser. Seems like Barbie's been working while on vacation. The themes of either song have a continuity although they are not entirely similar. So far, it seems like a lot of people are feeling Chun-Li more than the above mentioned but I'm totally digging Barbie Tingz as well. In a slew of recent interviews Nicki has been speaking out about apparent tension between her and Cardi B which if you listen closely to both songs you can hear her stance on the matter (or on the person). Tap into the music and let all the Barbz know that the queen mother is back!
