One of my favourite upcoming stars, Lungelo Manzi, drops off a brand new track for his people. Lelizwe is a cry he shares about the toils of his people by addressing inequality and harvesting in a land that is ours but not quite.
He's very socially aware and he shares his thoughts on this vibey, yet abstract track, which has a kwaito-tinged influence to it. Lungelo challenges life in the now against the backs of the inherent struggles that his people seem to face to no end. A beautiful song with a heartfelt intention. That voice, a memorable sound that etches itself to your heart the more you listen to him. Refreshing.
