While more and more corporates are beginning to see the importance of the culture in business, Netflix just announced a new eight-part docu-series called Rapture (RAPture) said to explore Hip Hop culture, its origin, and influences. The streaming service announced a couple of days ago that the series will officially go live on the 30th of March, that's a month from now, and will feature some Hip Hop greats including Nas, Rapsody, and T.I to name a few.
This happens to be the first documentary in a while surrounding the lives of notable rappers in the game. Last year we saw a few films based on the lives of the Notorious B.I.G and 2 Pac, while some were about the evolution of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Lovine and their contribution to the game. The trailer for Rapture shows some performance footage of the featured artists as well as voiceovers from some of them, definitely something to look out for. Remember to mark those calendars!
