Antonio Matusse, aka 3rdletta, is a Mozambican musician from the East Rand who is about to take the South African music industry by storm. We had the songwriter and producer feature in our Best Of March compilation and now he's here to drop off a brand new project that explores his feelings and upbringing. The I Am EP was produced, mixed and mastered by 3rdletta and the young rapper prides himself in creating music his fans can relate to as well as being able to paint pictures of life through his eyes (or lyrics).
I Am is quite a colourful project with less than five featured artists and extraordinary storytelling. The young musician talks about working hard to achieve success in the music industry, his faith, and the positive as well as the negative influences that shaped him into the man he is today. Antonio shows off his musical talents through his lyrics and production as he explores different topics. He describes the project as "commercial, on the surface and easy on the ear with positivity flowing through," couldn't have said it better myself. Some very unique sounds and stories that many people will be able to relate to, impressive work.
