BREAKING NEWS
As the year draws to a close, we decided to recap on some of the events that took place in South African music - Hip Hop to be exact. The year was filled with more wins than losses and while we always need to congratulate each other's successes, we also need to reflect on the lows and share how some of the situations could have been handled better in the culture. From the Slaghuis Hip Hop documentary to the South African Hip Hop Awards and Fill Up FNB Stadium, we break down how the culture failed to get support either from some media publications or even tastemakers despite all that our artists have done for South African Hip Hop.
