@KeepitRealFri Specials Part 2 With @Slikouron At The @ZimHipHopSummit

By @Lenoir on 10/11/2017 in Listen

We went out to the Zimbabwe Hip-Hop Summit on the 30th of September and apart from being a speaker at the conference, Slikour got to guest feature on Keep It Real Fridays on Capital26free. The show is a Hip-Hop podcast in Zimbabwe that "interviews game changers in Hip-hop from all facets of the genre from MC's, Entertainers, dancers and promoters", hosted by Seletine and Brian Willis. This episode was co-hosted by a rapper from Zim who goes by the name, Sharky. The Keep It Real team went on the ground to attend the summit and get interviews with some of the speakers for the summit to get their views on the current state and business of Hip Hop. From standing in the forefront of the music to stepping back and handling the business side of the culture, Slikour's journey has been seen as legendary by many artists in the game and it's this transition that's helped him build even more relationships with many industry figures. The guys went on to chat about Siya's humble nature and how he's managed to maintain relationships with not only established artists but also the new cats in the game. I mean the man put on Kwesta who happened to become one of the best rappers in South Africa. Now Slikour has released an album of fresh talent that will help aspiring artists break into the industry - The SOL Incubator.
