@thelox - Hit The Roach

Arguably the best rap crew in the game, we get new music from The LOX while they're still on tour. The guys get reflective on this new joint and over this inspirational and powerful instrumental. Styles P kicks things off and raps about earning money and respect but his ambition's still intact. Sheek Louch slides in for the second verse and goes on to rap about his own internal struggles, also addressing the streets and sharing hood politics. The LOX have always stayed close to the streets and keep referencing how their past actions have influenced them today, I like how they all begin their verses with the same opening line. Jadakiss, who is never afraid to share his views on politics, closes things off with a third politically-charged verse, asking how the US president got in office when he's always going off on Twitter. Fans of the trio will without a doubt love this joint.
