The sombre beginning will confuse you. The cinematic visuals for Hammertime begin with an intro from Jonn Hart about how he first got into the music scene and the Hip Hop culture just before he gives a tribute to some OGs in the game. "I got my game from Too Short, my vernacular from E-40, and the drive to pave my own lane like MC Hammer", we then see the legendary Can't Touch This rapper as he welcomes the track before the beat drops. Jonn sings his verse while his crew backs him, I assume that hammer time is a whole new level where one feels untouchable? Get it? I should start using that. The gang got MC Hammer bumping to the joint like he's one of them, these darned rascals. I don't blame him though, I'd go buck wild too if my catchphrase was used in a new school track after all these years.
