Just a few days before he drops his forthcoming album, Gemini, Macklemore hopped by Hot 97 to drop an insane freestyle with Funk Master Flex over Jay-Z's classic beat for Lucifer. Over the instrumental, Macklemore drops bars about his come up and how he was doubted by many people, "The music department rejected me in college, so shout out to my alma metre, you know I got a couple Grammies that y'all can borrow." He then flexes about his jewels and clothing before he compares Hip Hop to the NBA while dropping bars about some of rap and basketball's biggest names. "If Jay is Jordan and Kendrick is LeBron, and Drake is Westbrook, and Durant is Big Sean. That means that Cole is Curry and Eminem is Bird." Gemini will be dropping on the 22nd of September with guest appearances by Offset and Lil Yachty. The album will also feature Macklemore's touching track, Glorious with Skylar Grey. Look out for that.
