@rmean - R.M.E.A.N.

By @Spokenpriestess on 09/12/2017 in Music

This new addition to the Mean Mondays series takes us back to when we first came across the impeccable R-Mean. He was doing multiple freestyles over Eminem and Nas' classic beats and never for a second did he take a day off on the rhymes. You have to be completely gutsy and just as dope to tackle a legendary emcee's instrumental. R-Mean did that 12 times as he ended up dropping a whole project titled Nas & Em which is a dedication to his rap heroes.

Over a Nas instrumental for It Ain't Hard To Tell (which didn't make the project) Mean goes in like a hungry rapper who's yet to prove himself in an all-stakes-in cypher spitting rhymes that break down what his name R.M.E.A.N stands for. Yhu! If you thought you could make up acronym meanings you haven't come across R-Mean's rhyme skill. Over 3 verses Mean flexes with diverse, yet lethal, meanings of his name in the scope of rap. We're gobsmacked at how this guy still has so much rap finesse within him. His weekly run is something to awe over. He's such an inspiration.
